CanGlide is a New Brunswick firm, located in the Bathurst area, which has developed an alternative to the rollers, or idlers, which support and guide the belts in bulk handling conveyor systems. Called the Slidler™, the engineered product consists of smooth surfaced polymer cartridges configured to provide superior belt support and guiding – and affixed to a frame with a patented attachment system. The Slidler™ replaces the idlers, and since being introduced in 2002, has been successfully supplied to bulk conveyor systems in Mining, Pulp & Paper, Potash and other industries

Did you know? The Slidler can withstand the harshest environmental conditions, from -80°C to 220°C (-112°F to 425°F). CanGlide\'s Slidler™ can extend operating life two to five times that of the idlers, as well as significantly simplfying and reducing conveyor belt maintenance.
